Napa Valley

Napa Valley enjoys advantaged natural conditions. A mild climate is here throughout the year with wide sunshine. The temperature difference in a day is large. The rainfall amount is small. Its soil contains many kinds of minerals. Apart from Bordeaux of France, Napa Valley is among the few places in the world whose natural environment is favorable for the growth of grapes. Napa Valley has over 200 wineries, among which are world famous Robert, Mondavi, Stags, Leap, and Chateau Montelena. Most of the wineries are small ones run by families, of which Niebaum-Coppola and Domaine Carneros are popular ones.

Niebaum-Coppola Estate Winery

Niebaum-Coppola Estate Winery is owned by the famous director Coppola and therefore attracts thousands of Coppola funs each year. Outside the wine cellar is a beautiful plantation. The inside has the air of a castle. The wine tasting area is forever overcrowded with people. A most popular red wine is named after Coppola's daughter Sofia. It is a series of carbonated wine, which tastes light and refreshing, especially suitable for women. The most famous brew of the winery is Rubicon.

On the second floor is the private exhibition of Coppola, where the awards won and props, and costumes used in his past movies are displayed. His works are also played regularly.

Domaine Carneros

Domaine Carneros is a typical French Chateau standing on the hummock, where you can look into the boundless green of plains. The winery is specialized in brewing French carbonized wines. Its geographic height is lower than other wineries. Here, light breezes from the San Francisco Gulf meet the ideal environment for brewing carbonated wines. Tourists can know the process of wine brewing and taste all kinds of good brews.

Australia

Located in the south hemisphere, Australia has distinct seasons and abundant sunshine and brews world famous first grade wines. The six provinces and two seigniories are all produce wines. The most important areas are the three southeast provinces and West Australia. Australia is now the forth largest country that produces wines. The national wineries are praised as the world's most open and most popular wineries. The winery owners are friendly. The wine producing areas also present pleasant sceneries.

South Australia

South Australia is the largest wine producing area in Australia, where half of the wines produced in the whole country are brewed. South Australia has 17 wine producing areas and over 300 wineries. About 20 minutes drive from Adelaide suburb, you can find the winery resort Magill Estate. In Barossa Valley, northeast of the capital, stands the largest brewery. Clare Valley and Eden Valley are the most famous places where shiraz and risling are brewed. The famous Connawarra is located in the southeast of South Australia, near Victoria.

Jacob's Creek

Jacob's Creek produces cheap but quality wines. Entry-level white wines and reserve-level red wines are sold at only over ten Australian dollars but marked 92 points in percentage by famous wine masters. The heritage wines are especially good Australian brews. In the visitor center, you can taste many good wines. The lunch offered here is also delicious. It is the ideal place for meal taking when you travel to Barossa. You must taste Steingarten Riesling, Limited Release Shiraz Cabernet, Centenary Hill Shiraz, St. Hugo Cabernet Sauvignon and all the reserved wines.

Wolf Blass Wines

The founder of Wolf Blass Wines was Wolfgang Blass migrating from Germany, who began brewing in 1966. Later, Barossa bought the estate and used an eagle as the trademark. Wolf Blass Wines was awarded the James ? Watson prize for three successive year from 1974 to 1976. The wine that made Wolf Blass Wines famous is Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon. Now graperies of the winery are distributed in every wine area of South Australia. The wines are famous for the use of oak. The flavor is rich, fragrant and easy to drink. The top grade black label and white label are extremely complex and need long time reservation. The wines here are graded by color. From top down, there are white-label, black-label, grey-label, golden-label, yellow-label and red-label. Then comes the primary Eaglehawk.
